Hello there!

My name is Kira Grissom and I am a visual artist based in Oklahoma City.

A little bit about me: I grew up in Oklahoma and in 2013 I left the red dirt and tornadoes behind for a while and moved to Boston, where I  earned a bachelor's degree in Animation and Motion Media from Emerson College in 2016. Since then, I've found myself back in Oklahoma working for a time as a high school art teacher and I am currently graphic designing for Infant Crisis Services.

While my graphic design encompasses many items from newsletters, to events, to social posts, my personal art is often character-driven; I like to tell a story, be it within the confines of a single page or over the length of an animation. Much of my current work is digital illustration; however, I also enjoy working with a wide variety of media both 2D and 3D including Videography, Photography, Pen and Ink Illustration, Acrylic Painting, Ceramics, 3D and 2D computer animation, Motion Graphics, and Graphic Design. And I wont stop there!

Art to me is a means of engaging and connecting with others by sharing myself, what matters to me, what inspires me, and what excites me. It is also important to me to be someone who uplifts other artists in my community and to support students who want to learn to create their own projects. Also: I just want to make cool stuff as much as possible!
